The ARC Training Centre for Radiation Innovation (RadInnovate) has been established to train a new generation of researchers and leaders and build new capabilities for radiation and nuclear science.
Projects are co-designed with our industry partners. Candidates are enrolled through a partner university and undertake a placement with one or more industry partners as part of their research training.
Industry placement
Candidates spend a total of 12 months of their enrolment based with one or more of our industry partners. These placements give our students a better understanding of how their research and skills could be used outside of university, as well as some valuable work experience to help kickstart their career.

Contact us with the project name and the required supporting information. We will advise you about the next steps!
State the name of the project you are applying for and attach the relevant documents.
Provide a copy of your academic transcript and/or evidence that you will meet the relevant university PhD or Masters by Research entry requirements.
Provide a current copy of your CV (maximum 3 pages).
Outline your research interests, relevant experience and why the selected project is of interest to you (maximum 2 pages).
If required, provide documents showing that you meet the applicable university English language requirements.
You may provide a link or upload to a video introducing yourself, explaining where you completed your Honours or Masters degree, the research topic you worked on and the type of PhD or Masters by Research project that interests you.
An above-award tax-free student stipend or scholarship is available for up to 3.5 years. We also offer generous top-ups, outlined for each of our projects.
